Ruskin Lodges Argyll, By Puck'S Glen, Rashfield Near Dunoon

We loved everything about Ruskin Lodge, from the breathtaking surroundings to the beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean lodge. the beds were incredibly comfortable and the host, Abigail, was amazing and very attentive to any needs we had. the location is perfect, just a short drive from shops and places of interest. Plus, the lodge accommodated our group of friends comfortably, making it a great choice for those who enjoy going out at nights.

Felt like home here, no complaints whatsoever.

I recently had a wonderful stay at Ruskin Lodge in Dunoon. The location was perfect, situated in the middle of a forest and surrounded by beautiful walking paths. Abigail, the owner, was incredibly helpful and gave us plenty of information before our stay. The lodge itself was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda, sipping coffee while listening to the birds and watching the squirrels play. The nearby Benmore botanic garden is definitely worth a visit, and I even spotted my first red squirrels there. it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Ruskin Lodge.

We had an amazing stay at Ruskin Lodge! The amazing surroundings and beautifully decorated lodge made it great value for money. The location was perfect, with scenic walks and the Benmore botanic garden nearby.

The hotel breakfast menu could have had more variety.

The location of Ruskin Lodge was absolutely mind-blowing! It was nestled perfectly in the middle of a stunning forest, just steps away from the most beautiful walking paths. We didn't need to drive anywhere, as the best spots were just around the corner. Abigail, the owner, was super lovely and provided us with lots of helpful information before our stay, as well as being incredibly helpful throughout. The personal touches on our arrival were a wonderful surprise, and our dogs absolutely loved the treats! The lodge itself was lovely and had everything we needed. It comfortably accommodated 6 adults and was still cozy for just the two of us and our dogs. The secure veranda was perfect for our furry friends to dry off. The host left loads of information, which was extremely helpful, and was always quick to respond to our questions. The laundry area with a washing machine and dryer was a fantastic bonus, ensuring we didn't have to bring home any sodden wet clothes. Cooking was a breeze, as all the necessary tools were provided, but if we wanted a night off, takeaway options were available for delivery. The site was well maintained and the lodges were laid out in a way that provided plenty of space. The atmosphere was so quiet and relaxing, making it the perfect base to escape the hustle and bustle. A short drive away was Ardentinny beach, which was beautiful, even in the rain. There were also plenty of places to visit and lots of dining options. We will definitely be returning to Ruskin Lodge in the future!

The room was absolutely perfect for a solo traveler like me. It had everything I needed - a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy flat-screen TV with a Blu-ray player for those movie nights, a spacious wardrobe, and even a handy washing machine in case of any laundry emergencies! The private bathroom with a refreshing shower and complimentary toiletries was the cherry on top. I felt right at home!

Honestly, I couldn't find a fault with this place. But if I must pick one, I'd say that the wardrobe was a tad smaller than what I'm used to.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to get out of them in the mornings. the host was amazing and attentive to our needs, making our stay even more enjoyable.

One downside we experienced was the dampness in the lodge, especially in the mornings. However, considering it was a wooden lodge in the middle of a forest, it wasn't much of a surprise.
